Thoughts on Random Thoughts

temples

It is crazy how fast the mind works

The human race is incredible.
Because that is exactly what it is, a race.

A race so fast, that newer, better, stronger, faster things are being made up each day. New things to help us get ahead. To win.
As time goes on, we realize that every new thought that is given birth has a better chance of becoming a reality because of the world we live in.
People are brilliant. They are watchful, intuitive. "chance favors the prepared mind"
and we live in a world that is preparing us to be prepared for chances that may or may not arrive...but the more you prepare, the more likely it is that a chance will come, that the day you have always been not waiting for, but watching for will come. And you, for a small moment in time, will be at the head of the pack.

My mind likes to race.

Sometimes people use the phrase, "well that was random..."....*awkward silence*

Well no. no it was not. I firmly believe there is no such thing as a random thought. Our brain requires stimulation to pull memories, thoughts and theories from out of its billions and trillions of storage spaces.

my "random" comment was stimulated by something that you said.
That "something" that you said, was the catalyst for a chain of lightning fast thoughts all interconnected and related that led me to a new topic worth discussing. Its amazing. Not random.

I believe our Father in Heaven is the catalyst in some inspired thought processes.
He places specific people, words, pictures, and scriptures, (usually a brilliant combination of all) to guide these revelation driven thoughts.

If we allow Him to do so.
If our mind is in a place to watch for, and accept such sacred and soft guidance.

If we are prepared.

No thoughts are random, nothing is coincidence.
The Lord is over all things, and if we let Him,
He will guide us to where we need to be.
Where He needs us to be.
