One day a man will spring worth loving

One day, but not right now.
So until then, sing happy things.
I highly encourage you to look up the acoustic version of this wonderful song on Grooveshark. (sadly there were only pathetic versions on Youtube). Its by Greg Laswell and its called Sing Theresa Says.  You have to listen to the One Tree Hill version to get the acoustic version. The second song I posted below is just as pretty in my opinion. They are magnificent, and so are the lyrics. Enjoy :)

I have too many thoughts sometimes, this blog is just a place to organize and vomit a few of the less confusing streams of ideas and theories running around up there. It seems like even more of these thoughts have been running rampant since the beginning of my Summer. When you have a lot of reflecting time, you look at yourself and slowly realize how much change has taken place. Some of it is scary, looking back and seeing how far i've come.

College is everything and nothing I expected it to be. This time last year, I was itching to finally shed my high school skin and dive head first into the next new and exciting chapter of my life.  I was thrust into a huge melting pot of young adults. All of us chameleon-like, pliable, shape-shifting pro's. We are experts at being whoever you want us to be, depending on the company we are presently keeping. We are each just waiting to find the right mold to fit ourselves into.

All just becoming who we are supposed to be, or at least who we think we are supposed to be. until proven otherwise.
we are making adjustments, smoothing the edges, and trying to make our lives beautiful.
making lemonade out of lemons.
trying to become something worth loving.

I don't know how the Lord does it, but he knows which adjustments are best. He has the tools to smooth the edges. He even has the recipe for lemonade.
And the best part of all, He knows not only who we are supposed to be, but who we can become. And He loves us for that. For our potential.
And to Him, that is beautiful.
